Shennette Sparkes is a strong advocate for youth literacy. Reading, writing and helping children to attain their personal goals has been Sparkes' mission. To continue this mission, she will hold monthly events about literacy at area schools and libraries. The author will promote her weekly quote journal Training with a Purpose, help students design vision boards and read some of her favorite stories. All events will be listed here.
